Project Background

Our client owns hundreds of acres of tea plantations near Wuyishan. Four generations of tea farmers have taken turns tending this land, insisting on organic farming and refusing chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and growth promoters. They hope to establish their own brand so that more people can taste the pure, high-quality tea from Wuyishan’s own tea plantations.

The client’s current packaging is basically the same as that of mass-market commercial brands, which fails to highlight their brand spirit of adhering to the original ecological cultivation of tea.

Solution

We extracted textures and colors from nature, and used more environmentally friendly paper and wood materials for the packaging. The packaging consists of two parts: tea bags and an outer box.

We also reorganized the previously disorganized product line, using standardized aluminum tea bags paired with paper labels indicating the product series. This reduced packaging costs and gave the packaging a handcrafted feel.
