The Middle East has one of the longest periods of high-temperature exposure in the world. Vehicles parked outdoors are prone to interior aging and extreme in-car heat. Traditional sunshade methods offer limited effectiveness. This automotive electric sunshade, featuring smart convenience and high-efficiency heat insulation, precisely meets local car owners’ sun protection needs and fills the market gap for high-end vehicle-mounted sunshade products.

Design Solution for Automotive Electric Sunshade

Targeting the high-temperature and intense sunlight scenarios in the Middle East, this solution focuses on three core requirements: intelligent control, high-efficiency heat insulation, and stable wind resistance, to create a vehicle-mounted electric sunshade compatible with various car models.
 
A.Intelligent Drive SystemIt integrates dual control modes of remote control and APP, enabling one-click automatic deployment and retraction with a deployment time of ≤ 10 seconds. Equipped with a light sensor module, it can automatically start and stop according to light intensity without manual intervention.
 
B.High-Efficiency Heat Insulation StructureThe umbrella fabric adopts a customized high-reflective coated polyester fabric for the Middle East market, with a UV blocking rate of ≥ 99% and a heat insulation rate of ≥ 85%. The umbrella ribs are made of lightweight carbon fiber material, which balances strength and portability. It has a compact size after retraction and does not occupy trunk space.
 
C.Stable Wind-Resistant DesignThe bottom is equipped with a four-claw non-slip fixing clip, which fits closely to the roof racks or door frames and can withstand gusts of ≤ Grade 5. A built-in pressure sensor enables automatic shutdown when encountering resistance, preventing damage to the vehicle body or injury to personnel.
 
D.Adaptability and Battery Life OptimizationIt supports dual charging modes of direct 12V vehicle power supply and solar panel charging. In a fully charged state, it can be continuously started and stopped 30 times. Multiple size specifications are designed to be compatible with mainstream vehicle models such as sedans, SUVs and pickup trucks. The installation requires no drilling and can be used immediately after assembly.

Design Process of Automotive Electric Sunshade

Centered on the demands of the Middle Eastern market, this design process follows the logic of demand research → solution design → prototype verification → iterative optimization → mass production launch to ensure product adaptability and reliability.

1.Market Demand ResearchConduct research on the high-temperature, windy climate and mainstream vehicle dimensions in the Middle East, interview local car owners and dealers, and clarify core demands such as heat insulation efficiency, wind resistance rating and intelligent control.

2.Solution Architecture DesignBased on research findings, complete the scheme planning and drawing of mechanical structure (umbrella rib material, fixing method), electronic control system (dual-control module, sensor components) and material selection (high-reflective coated fabric).
 
3.Prototyping and TestingProduce 1:1 functional prototypes and carry out environmental simulation tests: heat insulation performance test under high-temperature exposure, stability test under Grade 5 gusts, and response sensitivity test of intelligent modules, then record data and analyze problems.
4.Design Iteration and OptimizationOptimize the design according to test results: such as reinforcing the anti-slip structure of fixing clips, improving solar charging efficiency and reducing storage volume. Conduct more than 3 rounds of iteration until all indicators meet the standards.
 
5.Mass Production Process PlanningFormulate standardized production processes, confirm the parts supply chain, design user-friendly installation instructions, and complete product certification and compliance review for market access in the Middle East simultaneously.
 
6.Pilot Production and Market ValidationLaunch small-batch pilot production and put products on trial in pilot markets in the Middle East, collect user feedback, finalize the product design and initiate large-scale mass production.
